The rules for using HVACToolSuite's calculators and guides, and — most importantly — what the results do and don't mean.

By using HVACToolSuite (the "Site"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
HVACToolSuite provides free, browser-based calculators and educational guides for estimating residential HVAC loads, airflow, duct sizing, and related sizing questions. Everything runs client-side in your browser — no account, login, or payment is required to use any calculator.
Results are estimates based on general industry methodology (ACCA Manual J principles, ASHRAE 62.2/55 guidance, and DOE climate zone data) and the numbers you enter. They do not account for every variable a full professional load calculation would consider, and they are not valid for permit applications, code compliance, or any situation requiring a certified or stamped calculation. Always consult a licensed HVAC contractor or engineer before making purchasing, installation, or construction decisions.
The Site and its calculators are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including but not limited to accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or that results will be error-free. We do our best to keep the underlying math and content accurate, but HVAC sizing depends on many real-world factors a web calculator cannot fully capture.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HVACToolSuite and its operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the Site, including decisions made based on calculator results. Use the Site's outputs as a starting point for research and conversations with a licensed professional, not as a final specification.
You agree not to misuse the Site — including attempting to disrupt its operation, scrape it at a rate that degrades service, or use it in a way that violates applicable law.
The Site may use third-party services such as Google Analytics and Google AdSense, which may set cookies and collect usage data as described in our Privacy Policy. We don't control the content of ads served by third-party ad networks.
The Site's design, calculator logic, and written content are the property of HVACToolSuite unless otherwise noted. You're welcome to link to any page on the Site; please don't reproduce or republish substantial portions of the content elsewhere without permission.
We may add, remove, or modify calculators, guides, or features at any time without notice.
